Donna Aeling - Public Relations Donna brings years of experience in public relations, marketing, managing and event planning to Hidden Valley Orthodontics. She has a great capacity to care for all our patient and staff needs. She graduated from San Pasqual High School and married her high school sweetheart - after their 20 year class reunion! She loves to volunteer in the wonderful community of Escondido where she lives with her husband, Rich. They have 3 daughters, one has graduated from college and the other two are on their way. She enjoys being an empty nester, running, reading, attending tea parties, and spending time with friends and family."I believe in Hidden Valley Orthodontics' value of exceptional customer service while providing excellent results by utilizing the latest technology" |
Marcia Alvarado - Financial Coordinator Marcia is a Registered Dental Assistant with 15 years of experience. She joined the Hidden Valley Orthodontics team in 2008. Marcia is a proud single mother to an energetic boy, Chase. Marcia is continuing her college education and enjoys making her son laugh, reading and relaxing - whenever possible! Marcia's favorite part of her job is assisting patients and parents with their financial and insurance needs."Providing the level of service that exceeds our patients' expectations is my daily goal" |
Michelle Andreas - Back Office Manager Michelle has been in dentistry for 15 years and came to Hidden Valley Orthodontics as an intern. Immediately she knew this was the place she wanted to work. She's a Registered Dental Assistant and has been part of our team since 1996. She loves the fun and positive environment, while her favorite part is getting to know the patients. She lives in Oceanside with her wonderful husband, three handsome sons, and two cats. She enjoys the outdoors, being with her family, and playing Guitar Hero!"I work for the Best Orthodontist in Escondido, and am always excited to see our patients' happy faces when they finish treatment" |
Brooke Blue - Treatment Coordinator Brooke is one of the first people you meet when you come to our office. She has worked for nearly 30 years in orthodontics and has had the pleasure of seeing thousands of smiles improved. Although she has worked in all areas of the orthodontic office, she most enjoys helping new patients feel comfortable and understand what braces are all about. She is a native of Colorado and also spent many years living in Nebraska, where she and her husband raised two daughters and a foster daughter. She has six grandkids, which will all need braces! She and her husband have called San Diego home for over 2 years now. In her spare time she likes to work with Community Theater, ride her motorcycle, spend time with friends, and travel to see her family."I love meeting new families and educating them on how Orthodontics can improve their smile and self-esteem" |
Linda Lockman - Scheduling Coordinator Linda has worked as a scheduling coordinator in orthodontics for 20 years and joined the Hidden Valley Orthodontic team in 2002. She enjoys building relationships with the families at Hidden Valley and hopes to make your day when you call or visit her at the front desk! She's happily married to Ron, her high school sweetheart, and they have 3 grown daughters and an adorable grandson, Noah (and hoping for more grandkids!) She's a wine aficionado, movie lover, and trivia buff!"I enjoy meeting our patients and families, and love being a part of giving patients the beautiful smile they have always wanted" |
Rachel Martinez - Registered Dental Assistant Rachel has been a Registered Dental Assistant for over five years and has spent two years in the orthodontic field. She especially enjoys working with the younger children and adolescents at Hidden Valley Orthodontics. She lives in San Marcos with her young son, Dillon. Many Saturdays are spent at Dillon's T-ball games and various family gatherings. Rachel is currently taking classes at Palomar College to continue her education and enjoys dancing, reading and watching movies."I find it rewarding that I help put a beautiful smile on someone's face everyday" |
Aileen Miller - Registered Dental Assistant Aileen has had an interest in the orthodontic field since she was in braces during her senior year in high school and started to work for her orthodontist in 1996. She was born in the Philippines and was raised in Baton Rouge, LA. After serving in the military for the US Army as a dental technician she moved to Escondido and became a Registered Dental Assistant for the Hidden Valley team in 2005. She's married to Joseph and enjoys raising beautiful chow chows!"Working and learning from Dr. Fortney rocks! Watching a person's self-esteem lift by improving their smile makes it all worth while" |
Jennifer Sengsouly - Registered Dental Assistant Jennifer has been with our team since 2008, broadening her horizon to the orthodontic field after being in the dental field for more than 10 years. She enjoys working with patients and her teammates and has been a quick learner! She is a lifelong resident of Escondido and spends time with family and friends and loves to read. Jennifer and her husband, Von, are looking forward to the birth of their first child!"I love to see the expression on our patients faces when they see their results after finishing treatment" |
Gina Strafaci - Scheduling Coordinator You can count on a warm welcome each time you come into our office! Gina has had the privilege of working in the "people business" for the past 25 years and has been at Hidden Valley Orthodontics since 2006. She and her husband, Joe, love living in sunny San Diego County and are the parents of a beautiful daughter. She's passionate about cooking and baking and enjoys sharing her culinary creations with her fabulous coworkers!"Meeting new people everyday and knowing that I am a part of such a positive experience in people's lives is what I love!" |
Dawn Stultz - Registered Dental Assistant Dawn received her Registered Dental Assisting license in 1997 and in 2003 graduated at SDSU with a bachelor degree in business management. She has been in the orthodontic field for over 10 years and Hidden Valley Orthodontics is by far the best job ever. She grew up overseas and has lived in San Diego for over 15 years residing in Escondido with her young daughter, Kayla, and their mischievous cats, Lenny and Lucy. Dawn enjoys her time with her daughter, anything to do with the outdoors, and open water swimming."I enjoy the positive environment in the office and love helping to create the best smiles ever" |
